What Digestly stores
Digestly stores the student data needed to keep your study sets reachable when you log back in: the material you upload, the text extracted from it, the study outputs generated from it, and the account context used to load it.
- Uploads: PDFs, audio recordings, YouTube lecture metadata, readable slide PDFs, and class notes.
- Generated outputs: notes, Deep Dive sections, flashcards, quizzes, transcripts, Exam Studio exams, and practice attempt context when used.
- Account context: your account email, plan, usage records, and basic metadata that ties study sets to your account.
- This is account study material, not public site content. Digestly does not publish your uploads as public pages, and your upload URLs are not meant to be shared as public links.
Deleting study sets, sources, and account data
Digestly has in-product delete actions for individual study sets and for the source files inside them. Deleting a resource removes its file from storage and the resource record from your account.
To remove your whole account, use the in-app account deletion flow in the Digestly mobile app: it deletes your Digestly app data and then deletes your sign-in user. For web-side account deletion, or for written confirmation that everything tied to your email is gone, contact Digestly from your account email.
- Study set delete: removes the study set and its generated outputs from your account.
- Source delete: removes the uploaded file and its resource record from your account.
- Account delete (mobile): removes your Digestly app data and your sign-in user.
- Account delete (web or written confirmation): contact Digestly from your account email.
AI providers and model training
Digestly sends study inputs to configured AI providers to generate the study outputs you ask for. Depending on environment and configuration, providers can include Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic, and OpenRouter-routed models, so the exact provider used for a specific output can vary.
Whether a provider trains on inputs depends on that provider’s terms and on the account configuration Digestly uses with them. This page does not promise a blanket no-training guarantee. If you need a written training, retention, or data-processing answer for institutional or regulated material, contact Digestly before uploading.
- AI-generated notes, flashcards, quizzes, Exam Studio exams, and explanations can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Check them against your source and your instructor’s guidance.
- Provider availability varies by environment, plan, and feature, so not every provider is used in every workflow.
- Do not paste credentials, secrets, medical records, financial records, or other highly sensitive personal data into your study material.
Encryption, access, and sensitive data
Digestly is served over HTTPS on its official domains and runs on managed database and file-storage infrastructure. Uploads are not published as public site content, and upload URLs are not designed to be shared as public links.
This page does not advertise specific encryption-at-rest, certification, or compliance claims. If your school, employer, or organization needs a written answer about encryption, retention, processing, or a specific framework, contact Digestly before uploading sensitive material.
- Use only the official Digestly domains for sign-in, uploads, and support: https://www.digestly.co and https://www.digestly.com.br.
- Treat upload URLs as account-only — don’t paste them into public posts, public docs, or shared links.
- If you are unsure whether a record is appropriate to upload, treat it as sensitive and ask support first.
